Ok now you guys have me thinking?? I have a steel 327 crank in the shop is it a 3.25 stroke? Can i use it with a 6.25 rod? What block would be best for it?

not sure about the rods but i would use the crank in a 400 block to get a 348 that loves rpm's thats my 2 cents anyways

the large journal 327 crank were made in 68 and 69 the block can be used to make a 350 or 327 the stroke is just different in other words you can put the 327 crank, rods, and pistons or the 350 crank rods and pistons in

This is a steel 327 crank that is a large journal i think... I pick ed it up a few years ago and have had it sitting in the shop. I guess i need to take it down and have it check and see what it is for sure. If it is the case then i could run it in a 400 block, i have the spacers for a 377 allready and run about a 6.25" rod lengh with a 377 piston or just find some pistons for it any more ideas would be great..thanks guys.
