This year I have been burning up plug wires pretty often. I have those heat insulating socks on the 4 rear plugs but they dont seem to be helping much. I run a metric w/ schoenfeld headers so there not much clearance. What wires do you run and how do you keep them from melting. Any neat little tricks. Am I routing them wrong. It worked last year, but this year I can't catch a break on anything. thanks

I buy Accel short header plugs. i think champion makes a short plug too
works great, pretty expensive but not as bad as buying wires

I thought of that I also had a thought to wrap the plugwires in that wrap also. I know a bunch of guys don't run anything and they have no problems. I am just wondering if I am routing them wrong. I am one of those low budget racers I can't spend money on that sort of thing if I don't have to.
