Our street stock class rules allow either a 4412 holley or a factory 4bbl which in my case (dodge) is a thermoquad. Any opinions or ideas on which is better? Currently I run the holley, but I found an 850 cfm thermoquad and might try it on a test and tune. Any tips on making the thermobog work in circle track applications?

What an interesting rule. A cheater's, pardon me, a creative rule interpreter's dream! Carter used to make a kit with all kinds of rods and stuff in it, that might be a start. So could a Ford or Chev run any Holley? I think the T/A 340s came with THREE 2bbls?

Yeah the carter kit is called a strip kit...and I have one. The rule is oem 4bbl carb, which technically means you could run an holley on a ford or chev...if it has the right numbers on it. No six packs though
