Just bought 2 new tubs of Kendal oil & i noticed that although the spec on the side of it is identical to that i used last season the stuff in it seems different. Last seasons is much darker in color (very green) but the new batch is not only lighter in color but also thinner. Have Kendal Changed the spec without telling anyone or have i got a dodgy batch?
Thanks.

I notice that Kendall was bought out by Phillips 66 last year, could this have something to do with a possible change?

We're a dealer for Kendall. They changed the color of the 20-50. It's brown now.

Thanks for the help Deek but i'm still a little puzzled why the oil just runs off the the dipstick when i dip it in a tub of the brown stuff & yet it only drips slowly off the dipstick when i dip it in the half tub of green i have left from last season (the tubs are at the same temp' by the way).
Thanks.

marty, i have used kendall oil for many years, and i too, have noticed the same thing, Mod57 on the forum is an oil sales person and he told me kendall oil was bought out by union 76 oil and they have changed the formula for kendall oil, now i'm not sure i'm going to continue using it. too bad i think

Thanks Ford5 I was starting to think I was seeing things. So if the formula has changed what would everyones next choice be thats widely available & how much does it cost?
Thanks.
