I was wondering how much of a difference there is between a 462 double hump head vs. a 291 or 461
the one good head I have now is pretty close to the description of the 291 how much of a difference are there in these heads are the flow numbers drastically different or would it be o.k. to use different castings. The heads I have now are small valved 305 heads until I can find a partner for my single.
CAMEL HEAD #291, 2.02-1.6 VALVES, FULLY PORTED & POLISHED, PINNED SUDS, PRESSURE CHECKED, BARE CASTING - $95
CAMEL HEAD #461, CUT FOR 2.02-1.60, PORT MATCHED, PINNED STUDS, PRESSURE CHECKED, BARE CASTING - $95

About a .040"-.050" flat mill is as far as you can go without running into a situation where extra machine work is needed .
