Small block 351w Ford street stock motor, stock heads, cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds, had bad carbon build-up on piston tops and in combustion chamber. Exhaust ports were also filled with carbon, but was kind of sticky.

What is the cause of this?

Please help.

Poor ring seal , bad valve guides , bad valve stem seal's , worn out bore , or a combination of everything listed .

The carbon is coming from burning your oil. Look for how it's getting into the cylinders, common sources are as sdhnc29 suggests.
