I am running a 406 in a 86 cutlass for Street Stock class... I have a 350 turbo presently w/ GM rear end. What rear end could i use that would be competitive but cost effective. I will be running 1/5 up to 1/2 miles tracks. Also need advive for Gearing on this subject.

gator in the long run if you can you would be best off by running a ford 9 in if you can find one beings you will be running two completely diferent tracks you will need to change gears for each unless you can run diferent size tires on the different track. the ford is also a stonger set up if you have to stick to gm i would find a 12 bolt out of a old chevelle they have gears that you should be able to run in high gear with on the 1/2
