i am building a new motor with a 010 350 2 bolt 350 block it is 2 bolt becuase i am installing splayed main caps, my question is this block has alot more meat to it and webbing then any 350 block i have ever seen, the casting numbers are 3970010 and the other one is K10-28-CNV i am confused and so is the engine builder about the second number, it also has an M with a square around it stamped on the block, i am not sure what type of block because it has so much more material and webbing,

any info would be appreciatted

thanks

if the second number was found on the right front of the block in front of the head this is the suffix code CNV = 1970 350 with 250 horsepower from a impala
