Charlie, I run lots of flat tops in our alky motors. Running a 64 cc head will let you run a little dome, but when you look at the durability factor, sometimes running a little less compression isn't so bad. We all want powerful motors but it is sacrifice and money. With a roller cam, the compression is going to narrow the powerband in the engine which could help, could hurt. It really all depends what you want and the camshaft you are using. I personally run some flat top 55 cc headed motors and like them because I end up with about 11 to 1 with a cheap setup and it is competitive if you can get the right camshaft for them. I hope this helps some.
