I just had a new engine built and I notice a little bit of residual dirt in the oil. (no it's not metal). Is there a good way to flush out a motor. I know, I should have cleaned it better but I guess I missed some.
Thanks

Well, as for flushing, I guess it would depend on what kind of motor. My first step would be to drop the pan and look at the bearings to make sure no damage was done. You might also want to cut the filter open to see just how much dirt you're dealing with. If bearings ok and filter not too bad, and if you feel lucky..........

Whooops! Forgot to tell you not to forget to check your oil pump too!
