at our track the rules say it has to be 112" wheelbase. I think that excludes a lot of metric cars, right? I wish we could use metric here, I would like to build a mid-80's monte carlo.

depending on your rules they are so different from trtack to track but we had alot odf luck with a 76 catalina had a strong 400 in her my buddy also ran the same motor in a 83 olds i think it was an delta 88 not sure but anyway he won **** near every week in it i have an 84 la sabre i'm building now with that 400 in it also look for the ones with v-6s in them ythey usually have a good gear ratio in them

our rules are 112 in wb 4 dr no chevy anything

i run an olds delta 88, but i would recomend a nova, or capris. at our track we use fords for target practice.

the big monte carlos pre 77.seem to be kickin arse around here.of course some of em got street stock motors too.
