You should unbolt the fenders, and when you re-attach them just use 3 or four bolts.

Thanks smart *** . what I was trying to say in that last post was that I need tips on how to get the quarter off and a new one on with it being the least noticeable, because as you all know, looks are everything. Thanks for any help.

Cut them off with a sawzall and pop rivet them on over the old ones, if your worried about looks tack weld them one and fiberglass them in it will look stock but much more work seeins there only gonna get destroyed. Eddie

Keep the replacement panels process easy, but keep it clean.

Take your sawzall and cut the old pannel off leaving about 1 inches of old panel left to attach the replacement with. Take your vise grips and place the panel into position, get out your cordless drill and three sixths drill BITS and go to work.

For rivets use the three sixths big head alum. rivets which your can get at your racer supply house.

Don't get real carried away with bondo or fiberglass work because that panel just may get ripped off next week.

If you take your time and use your best effort, the panel will look very nice from the stand.

I cut may panels off with a Metabo Cut Off Grinder with a 6 inch cut off disc which works very well, but a sawzall works just as good.

i agree with 17j the rivites look like crap welding them on is the way to go and bondo covers it up real good and u can always cover bad body work with stickers or lettering
