Always check out your toolbox at the top of the screen. I really like what is presented there and you can help your self out many times. But concider what you have now

350 turbo 2nd gear 1.52
rear end gear 3.90 4.10
Multiply
Resulting final gear 5.93 6.23

New stuff
350 turbo 2nd gear 2.52
Resulting final gear 5.93 6.23
Divide
rear end gear 2.34 2.47

You didn't tell us what rear end you are running?

Hope I helped.

Check out this site for gear ratio selections.
http://drivetrain.com/rearend.html

The rest of these gearheads on here will have to help us with what vehicles to find the gears you are wanting came out in!

Depends on what type of car you refering towards. Some of the earlier camaro's came with 3.08 with powerglides. You can go to autozone or whereever and look at a chiltons book for a 79 camaro. There is a chart/listing that shows all the rearend gears, what year they came, and where to look on the housing for the codes for what gear is inside. I used that when I ran my 79 camaro for finding rearends with the right ratio. Hope that helps.
