i think you might be running to tall of tires i run a 3.23 with 205 75 14, 82 in roll looked like you guys had 15 on there right? if you have something shorter try that what do your roll out to be ?there are all kinds of gears that guys run in our class so it's hard to say what would work best for you like the guy in the primer 85t that bit the wall thats one of my buddies and he runs a 5.86 and i have another buddy that has my old 3.08 so there is no magic gear for us so we do alot of tuning with tires. i asume your running a 12 bolt?if so you might want to go with the 5.86 also if your going to buy a new one then you can run in drive. i should be done in 2 weeks so i'll see ya then or i might stop down saturday if you plan on sticking around afterwards

17j we use 205 75 14 on rear and use a 10 bolt 7.5 type. We would change to a 12 bolt but we have new Moser axels in the rearend we are putting a 410 in tomorrow and we will see if that helps

are you sure you have a 3.55 then i don't think they have a 3.55 in a 7.5. you aren't going to be able to run those tires with a 4.10. thats going to put you at 623 your going to have to go up to a 225 or 235 15 to run that big of a gear your gonna be floating the valves by the time you hit the pit enterence.i would double check that gear you have now are you sure it's not a 2.56 what did it come out of?
