I have been have problems with my holley the past week And I was just wondering if anyone can help it's an 4412 2 barrel 500 cfm the engine is an 355 9 to 1 hei dist the car is just weak down the stretch's and I know it's in the carb because my 4 barrel pulls the car down the stretch good I run an 79 jet and the power valve in the carb was an 85 I changed it to 45 I have heard of people blocking it off and just running huge jetts I was just wondering what every one else is using

sounds like the carb is just way too big on jet for that motor.
Unless the carb has been internally modified in several ways, your jets should wind up in the 72-74 range at the most for that motor. Also, I don't recommend blocking off the power valve for your situation, it would cause you more problems similar to what you already have.
Another thing that comes to mind is to check firstly the fuel pressure (6-7lbs at idle), and insure the idle circuit is adjusted and functioning properly.
Next, check to make sure that the main air bleeds, squirter circuit, and accelerator pump functionality are set right and clear of obstructions as well.
