I RAN A 79 CAPRICE CLASSIC THIS YEAR,
I NEED TO PUT STIFFER FRONT SPRINGS IN.
SPEEDWAY AND A FEW OTHERS SELL 12" STOCK SPRINGS, WILL THEY WORK WITHOUT SPACERS
OR WILL THE FRONT BE TO LOW? I CANT RUN
SPACERS IN MY CLASS.

Can you run adjustable spring boot pockets?
You can find them at www.afcoracing.com.

Do you have a front ride height rule, is that
why you are worried about them being too low?

I think you would be ok with 12" springs.
However, if you can, I get some 9.5" springs
and the adjustable spring boot pockets.
This will allow you to play around with the front ride heights.

NO WE CANT RUN SPACERS,ADJUSTERS OR POCKETS.
THE STOCK SPRINGS WERE 18" FREE H. AND 11"
INSTALLED. I PICKED UP SPINGS OFF A BIG
BLOCK CHEVELL AN DCUT THEM DOWN TO 14" TO
GET THE RIGHT RIDE HEIGHT, BUT THEY ARE STILL ONLY 730 Lbs. I WAS THINKING THAT THE
HEAVIER SPRING AT 12" WONT COLLAPS AS MUCH AND GIVE ME THE SAME RIDE HEIGHT. ANY THOUGHTS?
