i had alot of luck running a 307 in a metric car when it went dry slick could hook up while the big doggs burned um off if it was heavy tho looked like a train going by lol

I would say yes it would work . As far as " BIGGER IS BETTER " I got a buddy who went to a mod race with 406 built to the hilt and a winning car and got his but kicked by v-6 's on alky they were lighter and had better rear percentages. My point being if you can't get it to the ground all the motor in the world won't do you any good try your little motor . good luck

Ran a 327 once, 7 grand twice a lap all stock bottom end, just got sucked up coming off turns. Now if I drove it harder through the turns and the car was set-up better and maybe a little more gear, etc etc. Hey I put a 355 back in, but for 50 bucks that was the best **** motor I ever had!!!
