my motor has been really sluggish until it get warmed up real good I pulled my plugs and they are all black with suet deposits my question is, is this because it's too rich or could it need a new coil? they are supposed to be a chocolate color right?

It sounds like you are running too rich. You want your spark plugs toast brown. Try changing jets in the carb.

ok..check your needle and seat ..it could be by passing it... what kind of fuel pump are you using? if you are using a high volume pump you will need to get a regulator because the pressure is too high..I just put a regulator on my car because of the high volume pump I run was bypassing the needle seat and valve too.
