Yeah, its usually caused by a pump problem, but nothing usually majorlly wrong. Put a catch can on it, thats what most people do. and then run it!!

junebug,
I have the same problems with my transmission. Go to the local farm store ask for TDH fluid, that should take care of your problems. 4Horseman

Paintswapper,
It does usually cause a problem. 90wt is too heavy of an oil. 4Horseman

B&M Trick Shift is a good anti-foaming fluid but costs more. Some guys run a hose off the vent tube to the rear so you wont get all the smoke too.

if you are thinking of a manual go with a 3 speed instead of a 4.also you will have better throttle responce with a manual and if your battery ever goes dead you can atleast push start it and a manual is less likley to give you problems. hope this helps

ON THE MANUAL TRANY QUESTION GO WITH 3 SPD FOR SHORE. 4SPD HAS MORE MOVING PARST THEREFOR MORE ENERGY TO MOVE THEM. ALSO A 4SPD WILL COST YOU $200-$500 A THREE SPD CAN GO FOR AS LOW AS $30 I BOUGHT 2 FOR $100 AND THEY WERE IN GREAT SHAPE ALSO YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN SHIFTER EASY FOR THESE.

Thank you both Viperoo $ Racer17, I am totally wet foot about this, but fortunately i work at a wrecking yard and have access to both 3 & 4 speeds. I appreciate the responses and welcome any further tips on the car.
