Has anyone ever tried the scales sold by madone.net. They use bathroom scales and a lever type system.

I have a set from economy engineering. Not bad, as long as you use the corrections that they give you, they are accurate within 5-10 lbs overall. One small draw back, skid plates are small, but it can still be done easily. Just have to have patience.

The ones from Mad are roller bearing scales for the front so there is no chassis bind...the pads on them are a little bigger than the one's from economy and sit a little better I think. I have used a set for a couple of years....the accuracy is about the same for either one. But it is still a really economical way to scale out a car.
