jimmy carter has run them and so has rick gustin, they work good, gustin won the track championship at eldora one year with a 327.

I ran one 26 races before rebuilding, motor was just as good as anything else on dryslick.

11-1 compression , double hump heads or better, another good combo is flattop with vortec heads, use good intake and call cam manufacturer with intended use, most shelf cams are ground for the more popular bigger cubic engines used and may not work with the smaller cubes.

We ran one with our old D&M car a few years ago .Ran it all season & finished Third in points at Boyd Speedway in Texas.The big motors would get us at the end of the straightaway but we would get em back in the corners.
