I saw some roller bearing sliders that Smiley's was selling recently, have any of you guys had any experiences with these? A little costly, but could be worth it.

I was told that they work excellent, they are a little heavier than other sliders but I'm told they are worth it.

I wonder what kind of maintenance they require.

Where are they sold??? And is there a web site where I can go and look at them. Always looking to find something better in the slider area. Currently, I am using the Harris sliders and they seem to work fairly well. Of course there is the weekly maintenence, but they don't seem to bind. What's your thoughts???

From what i understand there is a grease fitting and a plug, you remove the plug and pump grease in the fitting untill it comes out the hole. There is no disassembly required. I guess I'll by them when I need new sliders or get tired of cleaning mine.
