I would be interested to know if anyone has run a Ford strut rod design lower A frame on a G.M. Metric frame. We are looking at the possibilty along with either pinto or granada spindles.
I would appreciate any response.

Thanks Jim.

my first question is where do you plan to race it? second why? the gm frame can be made to work very good the way it is and why would you even want to try and convert it, or think about it to the ford strut rod type lower a arms.

Shaw might build mods that way, not sure.

I GUESS YOU COULD BUILD A MOD THAT WAY, ANYTHING CAN BE MADE TO WORK. IT WOULD NOT BE IMCA LEAGAL THOUGH, AND THAT IS WHO MOST MOD RACERS RUN WITH. IN THE RULES IT STATES THAT THE LOWER CONTROL ARMS,MOUNTS MAY NOT BE ALTERED IN ANY WAY, UPPER MOUNTS CAN BE MOVED AND AFTERMARKET UPPER CONTROL ARMS CAN BE RUN.
