I want to hear your opinions on this. I actually prefer an underslung car. More stable, takes a hit better, more weight on the rear... Any others?

I agree some underslung cars are probably stronger, but on some chassis' the lower bar looks like it's just for reference. I kind of like the idea of the overslung chassis on dirt for the higher center of gravity. I'm driving an underslung chassis now but I just bought a new Ellis chassis (overslung) and maybe before the season is over I can give you a full report. Ellis also makes an underslung chassis but they are built for the asphalt.

i own a harris wich is under slung and a friend owns a dirt works wich is over slung i seem to be more stable in the turns i have driven both cars and the harris handles better but the dirt works transfers weight better its kind of a toss up but i like the harris's under slung also hes bent his rear clip before and ive been hit just as hard and didnt get bent so that may be some proof of an advantage of an under slung car

I've built a Mod that is underslung on the left and over on the right. I'll let you guy's know how it works. We have used both on Latemodels and they both work well! Bye
