What exhaust gaskets have you had success with or do you just run silicone?

I'm having trouble with mine leaking then burning out.

Make sure your headers are straight then, because I generally dont have that problem.

I've never tried silicone but I have tried quite a few different brands of gaskets and the Mr.Gasket ones like they sell at Autozone work good for me.

I use whatever is available at the time, just be sure to retighten the bolts after the first couple of times you heat up the engine. I don't think there is enough back pressure with most modified headers to burn out exhaust gaskets unless the bolts are loose.

Put copper gaskets in and forget them.Use them over and over

That reminds me, last year on the second night out all my exhaust bolt fell out but one, and I had them pretty tight so I drilled the heads and have them safety wired now.
