What is the big deal with the small drive shafts? I have heard there is quite a controversy going on about them..what is it?

Donna, I have not heard the deal on the small driveshafts, but there are some that are made out of aluminum and carbon fiber that I would be wary of. A small steel driveshaft should hold up, unless the material is to thin of course.

I also haven't heard any conversation about this, but I am way out on the west coast. We're kinda out of the loop.
We have taken a Chevette drive shaft before wand used them on the mods, they are significantly smaller than a standard shaft.
Smaller means less weight. Any time you can cut down on spinning weight you are creating horsepower.
