Good call Jammin! I agree. The no pay can also be a cut the purse at the last minute, not enough fans, low car count, etc. etc. excuses.... You posted the payout so pay it.

Favoritism only helps the driver being pampered, for everyone else it stinks, including the fans.

I have heard of many happenings in the grandstands that cause problems too. And when the track operators say "If you don't like it, don't come back". Then my team and fan following will do simply that.

Pay is a big deal. Even if the pay isn't real good they need to stick with what is advertised. The track I run at sometimes pays only ten positions, but they cut the pay if there are less that ten but will not increase the pay when there are more than ten. This is a new track but I think this is going to hurt them.

I cant speak for car tracks yet but kart tracks are pay out and a flagman with no clue.I guess that would fall under favoritism.

this track i am gonna run at loads all the cars in one heat race and runs them and only pays the top 3! It dont matter how many cars are there. There was 20 cars in the imca heat a few weeks ago. thats a bad deal and they favor certain drivers from that area!

The best pay out track I have seen is West Plains Speedway (MO). If you start the feature and go out in the first lap you will get 20 bucks. That is the cost of the pit pass. That is for the Hobby Stock class. It may be more for the faster classes.

Our track starts 24 cars in our bomber class lowest class usally have 30 t0 35 cars show up he pays 30 dallars to start and if you don't make the show he gives you free passes for the next week, very fare deal But the rules can change from week to week and if you raise any **** about anything you are on their sh#t list. So you keep your mouth shut or get the shaft . Tracks should make their rules and stick to them untill the end of their season.
