Anybody out there use on of those new Speedway Motors scales? The ones in thier catalog that look like you balance the corner of the car by barely jacking up on a point under the wheel.

Any who used it compare against expen$ive scales? Are they repeatable? Worth the money? They say gauge reads to 20 lbs. Is this close enough?

A little background, I am a rookie driver with a 2600 lb sportsman (northeast) modified. I don't own any scales or have easy access to any. The digital ones are _way_ outta my price range. Even if I could find cheap grain scales, I have no room to store them. So my thinking is the speedway scale would be better than nothin'..

thanks,

That single wheel weight jacker has been around for at least 25 years. Never did put one against a four pad scale to check how accurate they are though.
Heck, in the NE there has to be someone within 25 miles of you with scales,It is worth towing your car 25 miles to put it on a set of scales to get a base line set-up
