How small are your I beams? We have made several jigs and I would not reccomend using anything under 5 inches for the main beams or the chassis will pull and twist it while you are welding on it. General shape is an H with both ends closed to make it like a square 8. You will need a minimum of 3 legs on each side, one on each corner and one on the center beam in the H. You will also want to make the legs adjustible so you can level it on the floor as almost all slabs are not flat. The most important thing it it MUST be flat from end to end and in every direction. Weld a little in each area and not to long in a single area so the heat dosen't twist or bend the beam.
