I just bought a Hobart Handler 175 still need a tank for the gas. They run about $150.00 around here. Just wondering if anybody had one for sale or knew of a good price anywhere. I am located in central Iowa willing to travel resonable distance. Thanks

do you mean a high pressure cylinder for welding gas (CO2 or ARGON) or do you need a gas tank for your unleaded fuel?
I think you mean a cylinder for CO2, if so try to lease one for 10-20 years, might be cheaper.
I just got one of the local welding supply stores to sponsor my cylinders with free refills all year long.
I get Oxygen and Acetylene
CO2/Argon mix for welding
and Nitrogen for my Air tools and tires at the track. I keep the Nitrogen in my trailer all the time, use about two cylinders all season.
Good Luck

The leases in my area are about $14 to $20 a month plus gas. In a year You will spend from $169-240 it was cheaper to buy one!
