Just curious if anyone has fabricated their own stagger guage. If so, how and what materials did you use?

I bought a stagger tape from a local speed shop for $4. It is just a small measuring tape that is easy to bend around the tire. Works great.

Built one.
piece of 3/4" square tube and piece of 1" square tube, can't rmember wall thickness but they get the right ones and they will slip inside each other. Welded some flat stock about 20" long one on each piece of tubing, slipped together and set at 30". Took old tape measure and cut piece from 20 to 40" and slide inside to the 30" met at the juction of the two tubes, poped riveted tape in place, works great. cost nothing as I had the materials. Good luck

Wouldn't that just give diameter and not circumfrence(sp)? The one I have shows circumfrence.
