Spend the extra if you can and get a Miller 210 and then never worry about the welder being to small for a job. If not the 2 welders are about equal being both are owned and made by the same company. I had a Hobart 150 which was replaced by the 175 when miller bought Hobart, great welder .

I have a Miller Matic 175 and an older Miller 250 sidekick. I use the 175 the most. It will weld up to 1/4 inch thick steel with tri mix and .035 daimeter solid wire. Some people think you need a huge welder for a racecar chassis but there are not many things on a chassis that are 1/4 inch thick. If I need to do something thicker I just use two passes, one from each side, with a small backcut grind on the peice. I have never had a weld break yet. ((KNOCK ON WOOD) thought i should throw that in there sence I said yet)
