Does anyone know where I can get an eazy edger? The purpose is to do the edges of the panels, turn them 180 to avoid a sharp edge. If anyone has ever had a performance body, they know what I am talking about. Used or new, I am looking where to find one reasonable.

I built my own, out of necessity. Helps lots to have 2 lathes in my shop. I've been building modified and latemodel type bodies for 5 or 6 years. I saw a picture of some upper and lower dies in a tool catalog, drew a sketch of them and sized them as necessary. With a couple pieces of shaft, 2 gears from Grainger's, 4 bearing sleeves and the 4 hommade dies it works great. The upper dies are steel and lower dies are aluminum. One end mades a 1/4 " hem 90 degrees , the other end folds to 155 degrees, then close with a rubber hammer... It works good down to about a 12" diameter circle, wheel well openings are no problem. If you like I can post a picture of it , If I can figure out how. LOL I'm a fabricator not a computer whiz...

That would be great, we've got 2 or 3 extra bead rollers around that I think we can make one eazy edger out of some of the nessecary parts. Thanks for the reply!!
