Calibration Specialties, Irving Tx. cost about $35 to have it checked, more to re calibrate it. Do It yourself article coming in next month's Stock Car Racing, Shows you how to check it. then once you know the percent off just figure it in. SLEEPY

quick way to check all torque wrenches is to go get an 8 point socket that will allow you to put 2 of them side by side.set them both the same, then see wich one clicks first(couple them together).this sometimes works on swing needle types alsobut it takes three people to watch.

When you put two wrenches together and one clicks before the other, which one is right? SLEEPY

in that case you would want to send them to snap on,or put your clicker wrench against a swing needle.
