what size generators do you use to run a compressor?? im thinking also of running a A/C in my enclosed trailer.
i found a great deal on a 5000 watt continuous one, i think that will run all i want?? lights, a/c, and air compressor at the same time.

Just take a look at what the equipment is going to draw (on its rating plate or litrature). Remember that volts x amps = watts. Just add them together & allow a little for start up. Plus check if any equipment needs a regulated supply, especially inverters/plasma cutters & welders (or you may get a surge & fry the electonics). Marty.

Don't forget that on a compressor... during the startup you need to multiply the amp x 3-5 to get it started especially after it has air compressed in it... Air conditioners will take a little less... If you are going to run both you will need to get much bigger than the average 15 amp 5000 watts.
