It depends on the frame you're using. Center your jig on the widest part of the frame rail. 10' long is usually long enuff, 5' on the cross rails(4 or 5 cross rails). E-mail tomcat@clas.net for info on a Camaro jig.

On a modified jig 10' wont cut it, it needs to be about 15' long so the whole car is on the jig not just the front 3/4 of the car. I have seen shorter jigs like a 10' but the tail end of the car is not supported by the jig. Mine is 15' long and about 41' wide with 5' 4x4 square runners across it for chassis to sit on.

Your right, a full frame or clipped car will need a full length jig. You can get away with a shorter jig with a Camaro chassis, especially with an undersling.
