snap-on and milwaukee both sell an 18volt version..I have the snap-on and let me tell you it is an impacting fool..I'd never be without one again...I would definately go 18 volt whatever brand you get..I had a 12v snap -on before and it had short battery life when you worked it hard(tire changing)..they aren't cheap though(350-400) I also thought I saw an ad somewhere for a 24volt makita but the price was around 550 I believe

I've got a 14.4 volt snap-op and the day it dies you'll find me curled up in fetal position wheeping from sorrow!! That thing has got to be the best purchase anyone can make. Yeah its a pricey investment but definitaly worth it.

The 18 volt Milwaukee is very good though it is a little on the heavy side, at least compared to the Snap-On 12 volt.
