Our rules state that we cannot run tubular A-arms. There for when mounting the shocks do you guys cut out the center of the stock arm so the shock can mount close to the ball-joint?

Depends which upper A-arms you have. If there on a metric car I would not cut the center. I would mount to the rear of them. If it's the camero style A-arm you should be O.K. to cut the center out. There alot stronger than the metric arm's.

There was a big thread a while ago, complete with some good pics, on mounting the shock on top of the upper a-arm. Might be an idea.
