When using all thread in the tapped holes on Moser axles, what is the best way to lock them in so they don't turn? I was thinking Loctite blue? I really never used these before, looking for your experiences.

Are you talking about using allthread as your wheel studs? If so, I would be concerned about the strength of the allthread. We've always used the 5/8 press-in studs with our Mosers.

Actually Moser offers all thread to make studs. The flange on the axle has a dual bolt pattern. .480" for knurled push-in studs and a pattern with 5 tapped 1/2-20 UNF holes, for either, their threaded studs or all thread. I was looking for a quick answer hoping that one in the masses had dealt with this issue. I guess I'll cotact Moser and put off installing the studs until they call back.

Thanks,

I know on mine we used Blue Loctite and didn't have an issue with them. I would check them every week if you are swapping gears or changing tires because when you put the lug nuts back on it will still put pressure on that Loctite and it will break loose sometimes.

I would recomend using grade 8 bolts for the studs installed from the back of the axle, all thread unless it something special from moser is grade 3 or lower not very strong.
