alright i got a metric chassis and have a question. i've raced 4 cyl for 6 years and finally moved to hobby stocks. and seem too under stand handling aspects. but one thing doesn't make sense to me. you run stagger ing the rear too loosen the car make it turn. then you put a heavy spring on the inside to tighten the car. wouldn't be easier to run no stagger and little difference in spring to tighten it or same size springs and small stagger to loosen.sounds like your trying to go to different ways at once but could be me i'm a newby too rear wheel drive

IMO, Springs and stagger affect the car at different times. A stiffer left rear spring will make the car tighter into and out of the corner. Stagger affects a car mostly from the middle off. Basically stagger affects the car when you are on the gas. You need to be able to get the car into the corner, thru the middle and off. Also if you have a car that is really hooked up coming off the corner you want to have stagger in it so that the car will turn without breaking the rear tires loose.
