I have been reading up on caster recently both on the forum and in the books but I still am trying to find out what track type alot of caster works on.One post I read says running big caster numbers requires a slight change in driving style you want to bee smoother getting into the corners dont throw it in.The track I run is a fast D shape 1/2 mile dry/slick most of the time with low banking so most of the time if you lose it its going around. Will the big numbers work on this type track or are they for the 1/4 and 3/8 mile bullrings? The car is already a winner but the body is hung and chassis is ready so I have all winter to work on geometry to get better for next year I just dont want to make an uneducated decision and spend the first part of the year backtracking on the setup.

We run the big caster split on a fast 3/8 mile track but we have a fair amount of banking. It works for us but like i said before its not for everybody. These are the specs for our track http://www.ohswekenspeedway.com/layout.htm
