Hey guys, I recently bought a Hobby Stock equipped w/ 14" tires..It also came with 9 spares w/wheels which some are new..Should I stick with the 14's and gear accordingly, or is a 15" tire better..Thanks in advance

GO WITH 15'' WHEELS IT WILL MAKE FOR BETTER BALANCE IN THE CAR.

thanks guys, what about traction and the 15" having a bigger "footprint" or more rubber on the track

jlong - if you are just buying the car you will probably have a lot more other items to focus on then the little bit of difference in the footprint of a 15 vs 14 - I know I sure did.

One big thing to consider is that you'll get rims bent and tires torn up through the season - just keep running your 14's and as they get torn up replace them with some 15" rims and tires - the gradual transistion won't hammer the wallet so hard. Have a good one - Jim

footfrint don't have a thing to do with wheel size a 235/75/14 is gonna have a bigger print then say a 215/70/15. the 235 is the cm of tread on the tire the 70 or 75 is % or how tall the side wall is compared to the print so a 235 will have a 176.25 cm side wall and the last is the wheel size
