We've done hundreds of either carb. The quadrajet will make more power if done right but typically needs more babysitting than the 2G. Now, originally, you stated "i can only run a two barrel rochester ". Is it only a 2bbl or can you run either a 2bbl or a 4bbl (quadrajet)?
With more info, I'm sure we can build you a winner.
Hope that helps,

The quadrajet carb IS a 4bbl carb. I'm assuming that is not allowed. I can build you a 2bbl Rochester that will have the throttle response to win, and will pass tech.
To discuss further, either email me at:
kineticperformance@thedirtforum.com or call the shop #: 607-277-6462. However, I'll be out of town 'till Sunday nite (I also work on a Busch North team) so try us on Monday early evening is best.
