does anyone know approx. how many more RPM's i would gain by just switching from 633's to 650's....i currently turn about 6000-6200...kinda wanna get up around 6800. will that bring it up enuff? or too much.....thx jeff

you are jumping just.17 th of the gear you should be 200 or 300 more rpm's looks like it's were you want to be i went from 6.00 to 5.83 .17 of the gear and i lost 300 rpm's from 7100 to 6800 and then went from 583 to 567 .16 of the gear and went from 6800 to 6400 just because i can drive it farther into the corner befor the hyd cam starts to float. put them in and you should be right in the ballpark for what you are trying to get

DirtDogg, how did the reduction in gear ratio affect your lap times and pull out of the corner? What size track? We're going to run at a new track for the first time next weekend, and we're running less gear than the locals do. Just curious about what you observed with your changes.

Sorry i been really busy. To answer your ? I improved my lap times and then again improved the times with the 67's we lost just a little pull coming off when i was running in the pack but when we were in the open we made up and surpassed what we had lost from the middle of the straight to the corner. every lap in the lead the gap just got bigger to the pack and then when the lappers were there no problems. The car is alot faster with less stress. won 3 of the last 4 mains at the end of the season

sorry the track is a big 3/8 ths wide sweeping turns. also with less gear we free the car a little more
