Does anyone know anyody that does good rear mounts and shortening. I bought a car with a 60 and cant decide if its worth the money to switch it. thanx in advance squid

Well they sell em in all widths for metric.Personally I went with a 58 cause it is stock width. All the wheels I have are for a stock width rear end.I use diff. offsets for handling and not cause I have to for rear end width. jmho

The one in my car right now is a bit longer also, I do have one at 58" though, the rr sticks out a bit more, was going to run offsets on the rr to bring in. Eddie

There was a long post about this probably two months ago. I would not do anything to change from the 60". If you are replacing the rear end any way then maybe change, but it is not worth getting a new rear end just to be 2 inches narrower. If anything offset the rearend a little to the left. Maybe an inch when you are having the person put the mounts on.

Well I never really thought of it that way since we build and install our own mounts. If you went from a 58 to a 60 or vise versa looks like you would have to change spring rates. The wheels would be closer or farther away from the spring pockets.?
