I've seen alot of talk on the Forums about supplying 16 or 18 volts to a stock HEI but mostly by using a series of two batteries or one 16 volt battery. I want to know what people think about these two items. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/xq/aspx/display_id.3844/qx/Product.htm

Sleepy did an article in SCR about the 18 volt system using a car and a motorcycle battery. Eddie

I have tried Sleepy's motorcycle battery set up and it worked good but this season I went to the unit from auto-physics. Its smaller than the motorcycle set up, easy to mount and wire and there is no maintenance. It supplies 16 volts to the ignition as long as the input voltage is at least 9 volts. So far, it has worked great. You can also get them in 14 or 18 volt units.

Make sure you are using a good module because a stock one will not take this kind of voltage.
