If I recall there are two different ratios for glides I dont know which one I have. But with a ten bolt rearend what gears would you run on a 1/4 mile track 3:73s or 4:11s?
I have 235/70/15 rear tires. Thanks

If I can remember correctly the two gears that the glides came in are 1.76 and 1.82. as for your final I would probably be in the 7.00's some where in high gear since that is 1.1, if you are planning on running low gear you need to figure out which one you got and multiply that by the car gear and that should give you your final. Thanks for the reply. I have the 3:73s in there now and the car turned 5500 rpms at the end of the turn, if I put the 4:11s in for tonight how much higher can I expect the rpms to go? Will this also help with getting out of the turns faster?

all other things being equal, the 4.11 gear should max out between 6000 and 6100 rpm.

All depending your motor internals, With a 4.11x 1.76= 723 final. I would not run 1.82/ 4.11, that final is to high. It really is dependent on having a quick revving motor with light internals. What pistons, rods, etc are you running? If you gear the living **** out of it, you will eventually be picking up metal off the track.

Pull your driveshaft off and measure over the output shaft splines with calipers 1.150 is a 1.82-1, 1.170 is a 1.76-1
