On my car i use a 7/8 for both front and rear.
i use the Camaro calipers on the front and metric calipers in the rear.
The car stops very well with the balance bar set for lots of rear brake, and works well with the rear brakes reduced under dry slick conditions.
you need less rear brake on a dirt car, as the track dries , even less is required.
Having one size master cylinder allows me to keep 1 spare in stock that will fit front or rear.
