I'm very happy with my QA1's. I run them on the front and Bilstiens on the rear. The valving is stiffer than Pro's or Afco's, so if you are wanting to replace a 6 Pro then you would want a 5 in the QA1. They are comparable in quality to the Bilstien, just have more valving options in a stock mount.

I put a qa1 hold down on the r rear thinking
it would tighten the car on exit. Didnt help. I did find out that the qa1 are taller then the pro or bilsteins. I kept
bottoming it out.

QA1's are great, but be sure you get the part numbers off of the web site. I bought some from JR motorsports and their catalog had the wrong part# for Metric chassis. The bodies were too long and would bottom out. Turns out they were for Midsize.

We went from bilsteins to Qa1 and liked the Qa1 much better car seemed much more stable in the corners. The bilsteins were just to light of shock for 3200lb car.

Hey Josh, We were planning on going until I blew our motor. So we canceled our plans to go. We didn't think we would have a chance with the motor Ruble loaned us. Now we just aren't prepared to go. We thought about just going to watch so we would know what to expect for next year. What about you guys?

Were leaving Thursday morning. Seriously, it will dry slick after hot laps. That track is all about momentum. I've seen guys do alright with the little motors. Anyway, come say hey when you get there.
Later
Josh.

I don't think the shock was to blame. A stiff rebound shock on the RR should not tighten the car on exit. The RR shock is in compression on exit, not rebound.
