How do you make a chevy drive shaft connect to a ford 9in rear end with out cutting and changing the rear of the drive shaft?

As you can tell this is the first time I have ever attemped to build a car.

Change the u-joint. You'll have to measure to get the correct one.

a long yoke on the rear end will take the same u joint as the metric GM's.

sorry, I just found your other post and see that you are using a different car than I thought. Just take a measurement of the yoke that is on the rear end and go to the parts store they can get what you need. If my friend was here he could tell you the part number from NAPA.

most parts houses carry a u~joint that will work for that setup.
